Before jVantage can be accessed it must be installed on a standards-compliant application server, and the setup application must be executed. The setup program configures jVantage to utilize a user specified directory for log files, uploaded files, exported database files, the jVantage license file and so on. It also loads the required data set into your database.

The setup application can be accessed at the following URL: 

 http://<host>:<port>/jvantage-setup

Note that after setup is completed, it cannot be accessed again. jVantage itself can then be accessed at this URL: 

 http://<host>:<port>/jvantage

To login to jVantage use the userid and password as follows:

  • User ID: admin
  • Password: 7

Once you log in you can easily create new groups and user accounts. You should also immediately change the admin password.
