Root Context
From jVantage
The Root Context is the top-level view of the jVantage development environment. It can be thought of as the home page of the development tool. It contains configuration information about the current jVantage instance (an instance being one copy of jVantage that is running on one application server), such as where log files are written, users, groups and other high-level data. The Root Context contains zero or more applications.
The jVantage development tool is, itself, a jVantage application. This means that although it is possible for a jVantage instance to contain no user applications, jVantage itself (as well as the ACL and Propery applications) always appear in the application list on the Root Context page.
